Hi beauty babes!!
I am so excited about this post! I have no idea how on earth or why it took me so long to place an order with Colourpop! The brand has pretty much gone viral in the last few months! I see it every where from Youtube, to Instagram, to Twitter, and Facebook! Every form of social media I use is bursting with Colourpop! And now, I totally understand why! Their products are extremely affordable (all $5 each) and they are a such a great quality! I wish I would have given in sooner, because I was seriously missing out! I have some now, and literally just placed another order the other day for more! More, more, more!!! I NEED MORE of these in my life ASAP!
First, the Super Shock Shadows are unlike anything I have ever tried before. They are a really awesome consistency and literally bring a whole new meaning to the terms "creamy" and "buttery" when it comes to describing eyeshadows! When you first touch it with your finger, it almost feels wet and cool. Definitely an interesting feeling for an eyeshadow. They're not a liquid, not a cream, and not exactly a gel either. They are a texture entirely of their own that is pretty hard to describe until you feel it for yourself. And all you need to do is touch into the shadow very lightly to pick up some product.
I have been applying these to my eyes with my fingers, but you could still use a brush if you preferred! These blend and/or layer really easlily too! It's all in the texture of the product! Something about it just makes them effortless to apply! I just tap the shadow on to my lids and blend into the inner and outer corners!
The first shade I tried is called Lovely, and it really is just that! Lol! It's a soft, shimmery, light gold shade with teeny tiny flecks of glitter! It is so so pretty, especially when the light hits it just right!
The second shade I got it called I ♥ This! It's a taupe-ish silver shade that also has teeny tiny flecks of glitter! This is a perfect, shimmery shade for everyday wear and a simple eye look!
For the third shade I chose So Quiche! I wanted to try something a little darker to see how their darker shades worked too. This shade is so gorgeous! It's a dark olive-ish bronze shade that also has the tiny flecks of glitter! As far as I can tell, the darker shades blend just as well as the lighter shades! I've used this one all over the lid and also in the outer corners for smokier looks! I really really love this one!
I also ordered some Colourpop Lippie Stix! They have been equally as famous on social media, so I knew I had to have them as well! Lol! These things are no joke! The formula is amazing! They're a super creamy consistency, and go on so smooth! They are extremely pigmented and literally last all day! I was also really impressed by these and totally understand why people are equally as obsessed!
The first shade I chose is Frida! This was a colab shade Colourpop did with one of my favorite YouTubers, Dani from Coffee Break With Dani. This shade is the perfect pink toned nude and it really does look great on everybody! It is a satin finish (just slightly glossy/shiny) and I would say that on me it is probably a little more on the pinkish side than nude, but it is still beautiful!
The second shade I chose is Brink, which was a colab with Brittany Sulieman. I had never heard of Brittany, but I thought this shade was stunning when I saw it on Colourpop's website. This shade totally reminded me of the Kylie Jenner, 1995, 90's lip trend that has been huge lately! It's a matte finish and it is just so gorgeous! I'm really glad I ordered this one!
The third shade I ordered is LBB! This one is intense! It's a gorgeous dark plum shade that packs some serious staying power! I would describe it as vampy- but still girly!

So far I am really really in love with this brand! I'm pretty much dying waiting for my second order to get here! Lol! The shadows are really super unique and amazing quality as well! Same goes for the Lippie Stix! Great quality and amazing staying power! I'll definitely be back to show you my second order from this company, so stay tuned! :)
